Ram Bagh conservation under cloud

Delay of the project to restore Ram Bagh, summer palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, has become an issue of public outcry. Morning walkers and aware citizens are critical of the Archaeological Society of India (ASI) for destroying the heritage in the name of restoring it.

MC demolishes boundary wall of Ram Bagh

Protected monument venue for mega religious meet

Already encroached by several private clubs, the protected Ram Bagh Garden here is involved in yet another controversy, with religious guru Murari Bapu holding a 10-day religious function from November 17 inside the Bagh. The district administration, despite objections raised by Archeological Survey of India (ASI), has gone ahead to allow the religious meeting.

ASI discovers antique fountains Ram Bagh
