All famed sarangi players have instruments made by him

Krishan Singh Ramgarhia (63) of Punjab has earned a name as a maker of sarangis, the traditional bow-string instrument used during Gurbani recitation and musical concerts. Krishan’s claim to fame is supported by the fact that nearly all accomplished sarangi players possess those made by him.

Algoza, chimta struggle for identity
