Conservation of four gates begins

LAHORE: The Punjab Archaeology Department in collaboration with the City District Government of Lahore has started work on the conservation project of four historical gates — Sheranwala, Bhati, Kashmiri and Lohari.

Four historical gates to be preserved

LAHORE: The Punjab Archaeology Department will restore and conserve four gates of the Walled City on a priority, according to officials.

LAHORE:The government will need to remove a host of encroachers and line drains in order to restore and conserve four historic Walled City gates, besides finding funds for the work.
