Pakistan approves Rs 35 million for Mohenjodaro uplift

Only after determining the factors behind the deterioration, atphere conditions like salinity and the like, would experts evolve a strategy to erect 314 bending walls in different areas of Mohenjodaro.

Archaeologist Ali Haider said a "storm drainage plan" would also be included in the plan, and later an Indus Valley School of Art and Architect, being part of the MPRCT, would design a museum, crafts centre, laboratory and a bookshop near the site.

Officials said the Department of Archaeology has also started preparing a second phase of the MPRCT, and this would include erecting road diversions, and construction of a 5.5-foot wall around the site, reports The News.

The site would also be illuminated at night to enable visitors take a look around, in the dark.
